Emajae Brown Arraigned for Beverly Home Invasion, Assault, Armed Burglary, Other Charges

SALEM, Mass. – April 14, 2026 – Today, an arrest warrant was granted out of Salem District Court for Emajae Brown, 25, of Lynn, according to Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker and Beverly Chief of Police John G. LeLacheur. The defendant was charged with one count of each of the following: home invasion, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over age 60, kidnapping, intimidation of a witness, armed assault in a dwelling, larceny over $1,200, breaking and entering in a building in the nighttime, larceny of a motor vehicle, and armed burglary related to a March incident in Beverly.
On March 28, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Beverly Police received a 911 call for a reported breaking and entering, possible assault with a firearm, and larceny of a motor vehicle and several other items. The ongoing investigation led detectives from the Massachusetts State Police and Beverly Police to Brown.
Earlier today, Brown was arraigned on the above charges and was held without bail. He is scheduled to return to court on April 21 for a dangerousness hearing. An impoundment order was granted.
All suspects and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
