Motorcyclist killed in Gloucester crash

News Release, July 26, 2023

A person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Gloucester, Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker announced.

The motorcycle was traveling on Andrews Street when the crash occurred about 12:20 p.m., police said. No other vehicle was involved.

The operator was taken to Addison Gilbert Hospital, where they were declared deceased.

The operator’s identity is being withheld pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

The crash is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Gloucester Police Department.
