Authorities Identify Man Deceased in Motor Vehicle Crash in Lawrence

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LAWRENCE, Mass. – September 2, 2025 – The Office of Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker and Lawrence Chief of Police Maurice Aguiler confirm that Reimy Moya-Nunez, 20, of Lawrence, has died following a motor vehicle crash in Lawrence Saturday night at approximately 11:45 p.m. Authorities say Moya-Nunez’s 2004 Honda accord crashed into a parked 2003 Honda Accord near the intersection of Ames Street and Butler Street. Following the crash, Moya-Nunez was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The Lawrence Police Department, Massachusetts State Police (MSP) Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, MSP Crime Scene Services Section, and the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are investigating the crash.
