Gloucester Man Dies in Ipswich Motorcycle Crash

IPSWICH, Mass. – August 25, 2025 – Charles Parisi, Jr., 72, of Gloucester, was pronounced deceased at the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Sunday, August 24 shortly after 4 p.m., the Office of Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker states today. Parisi was operating his motorcycle when it collided with a Dodge pickup truck on the High Street section of Route 1A in the area of the Dow Brook Conservation Area. Ipswich Police were called to the scene of the crash, where the operator of the pickup truck, a 49-year-old Lynn man, remained on the scene and cooperated with police, Ipswich Police Chief Paul Nikas said.

The crash is being investigated by the Ipswich Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The incident response also included the Ipswich Fire Department and mutual aid by the Rowley Police Department and Rowley Fire Department.
