Authorities Investigating Fatal Shooting in Lawrence

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LAWRENCE, Mass. – September 13, 2025 – Hugo Delrosario, 27, of Lawrence, was pronounced deceased on scene following a fatal shooting at 154 Essex Street in Lawrence early this morning, the Office of Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker confirms. Lawrence Police responded to the call shortly after 2 a.m. An active investigation is underway.

In addition to the Lawrence Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to Tucker’s office, Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner have responded to the incident.
